Event Management
When Hatfield Insurance in Fairfield, CT held their centennial celebration in 2005, NetSage was engaged to create and manage the event.
As a minority stockholder of the Bridgeport & Port Jefferson Steamboat Company, Hatfield Insurance was able to secure one of the ferries for this event, to cruise Long Island Sound. We created an invitation featuring an antique ferry print, designed the signage, and installed the main saloon decorations. We also managed responses from 250 guests and many other event logistics, coordinating with the Steamboat Company, caterers, florists, the band and other parties. As a final gesture, we boxed ferryboat invitations (blank inside) as note cards, which became a departure gift for the guests.
