Advertising Campaign
Organic Connection is a retail and home delivery organic market located in Brewster, NY, which is not usually perceived as a food-shopping destination. While organic food purists will travel some distance to shop for organic foods (the store sells 98% organic products), more mainstream shoppers concerned with the food supply were simply unaware of the store’s existence.
Our advertising campaign included media placement, ad design, and ad trafficking with some serendipitous public relations. Ad copy emphasized the complete range of organic foods available, store location and home delivery schedules. Since the subject matter proved to be of great interest to local editors, we exploited every opportunity to garner special section articles in combination with our advertising. We also combined this two-pronged approach in advertorial copywriting under the heading of health, or “going green.” As Organic Connection celebrates its first anniversary, foot traffic to the store is increasing.
